CHFCU members are elibible for several types of investment opportunities. Here are a couple of types you can choose from.
Certificates of Deposit (CD's)
Share deposit account that carries a fixed rate and term. Funds are insured up to $100,000, principal and interest, by NCUA (National Credit Union Administration), an agency of the federal government.
IRA's
IRA's are tax-deferred retirement accounts for an individual that permits individuals to set aside up to $3,000 per year ($3,500 for 50 and over) with earnings tax-deferred until withdrawals begin at age 59 1/2 or later.
